Chase Creative Unlimited to Provide the Audio Visual Support Services for the 4th Annual Michigan Music Conference

The purpose of the Michigan Music Conference is to provide an annual in-service opportunity for the professional development of Michigan music educators and to serve as a coordinating body for collaborative, inter-association initiatives in support of school music in Michigan.

An additional and unique component of the Michigan Music Conference is the Technology Pre-Conference event - a premier showcasing of new technology being used in music curriculums. It provides a hands-on opportunity to educators who want to incorporate the latest technology into their lesson plans.

This year’s keynote presenter is Karl Paulnack. Hailed by the Boston Globe as "a firecracker of a pianist" and "master of his instrument," Karl Paulnack has partnered vocal and instrumental soloists, chamber groups, orchestras, conductors and opera companies in nearly a thousand concerts throughout North America, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Macedonia, Norway, Romania, and Russia. Engagements of recent and current seasons include the festivals of Bard College, Madeline Island, Round Top, Royaumont, Sonic Boom and Tanglewood, as well as the Bridge, Noe Valley, Stillwater, Walker Museum, Williams College, UC Davis, UT Austin and University of Oregon concert series. He has appeared in concert at Alice Tully, CAMI, Carnegie, Merkin and Weil recital halls; Tanglewood's Ozawa Hall, the Library of Congress and the Hollywood Bowl. His regular recital partners include violinist Jorja Fleezanis, soprano Lucy Shelton, and numerous chamber ensembles.

This will be the fourth consecutive year that the Michigan Music Conference has turned to Chase Creative Unlimited to coordinate all of their audio visual needs for their event. This event has over 100 presentations and performances over the course of three days. It occupies most of the meeting space within DeVos Place Convention Center, the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and the International Ballroom in the JW Marriott.
